The process of switching electricity tariff for larger users can at first, seem like a daunting prospect. With numerous suppliers offering various rates, contract options and perks, it can be hard to figure out whether you’re getting a good deal or not.

1)      Allow us to work on your behalf

This is the only part of the process which requires active input from you. At Love Energy Savings, we will not work on your behalf until we have obtained a Letter of Authority (LOA)

An LOA is required by any reputable Third Party Intermediary and is a key piece of paperwork when it comes to switching your electricity tariff. It’s a recognised legal document which allows us to do our job, liaising with suppliers on your behalf and finding cheaper deals for your business electricity.

All we will ask you to do is read and sign the LOA, confirming that you agree for us to gather prices for your organisation and contact your supplier to access any details about your usage and meter we may need.

2)      We’ll compare the market

Once the LOA has been signed we can get on and do all the hard work for you. We will first contact your current supplier to get the information we require to gather quotes.

Once we have your business’s energy details we can then contact all the suppliers we work with and negotiate with them to find you a cheaper tariff. Due to our standing in the industry and our favourable relationships with suppliers, we’re in a better position to secure you a great deal.

3)      You pick the best deal

After we have compared the market for you we’ll compile an easy-to-understand presentation document which will list all the tariff options in a league table format, ranked by total annual cost. The document will contain all the details; unit rates, standing charges and any day/night/weekend rates you may require plus details of any direct debit discount that may be available.

We’ll then call you directly to discuss the options and answer any questions you may have to ensure you are fully informed when it comes to making your decision. We’ll give our recommendations based on our wealth of experience in the energy market, discuss contract length options with you and talk you through any concerns you may have about the switch; we want you to feel fully comfortable and in control of YOUR decision.

Once a contract has been agreed, and the relevant paperwork is signed, it will take around two weeks for the process to be completed, depending on the suppliers involved. If you have any issues during the switching process you can always ring us for advice and help as we can contact the suppliers in question and resolve any problems. All you have to do now is sit back, relax and enjoy the savings.
