Following a standard format, a Letter of Authority always applies correct grammar and must provide in-depth details of the parties concerned. This ensures that the situation is on a firm grounding from the beginning, and cannot be undermined.

Let us explain how Love Energy Savings use a Letter of Authority. Our job is to get your business cheaper gas and electricity rates; but, before we can do that we need your permission.
We can only help you switch from your current tariff and save money by providing your current supplier with a Letter of Authority, signed by you.
An LoA also gives us the authority to manage any administrative tasks on your behalf, taking the hassle out of finding energy rates that work for you.
Once we have this, our team of energy experts can then do what they do best and make sure that your switch goes through without an issue so all you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the savings.

By submitting this LoA, you're not signing your life away. We are committed to being completely transparent about how we operate and the fact that we ask you to sign an LoA before we proceed should give you assurance that we are working with your best interests at heart.
It's simply giving us permission for us to speak to suppliers on your behalf. This process is standard across the whole industry.
Find Your LoA in Your Welcome Pack…
To make it even easier for you, we have provided our own LoA for use within Love Energy Savings, so you don’t have to go to the trouble of writing your own.
Our LoA explicitly states that while we can gather information, negotiate and submit notice of termination on your behlaf, we do not have the right to agree a contract without your consent. This means that the only contracts you will be agreeing to are ones which you have selected.
In the welcome pack, you’ll find your LoA, ready to be signed by you. All you need to do is print it out on paper with your company letterhead, have it manually signed by an authorised signatory for your business and then pop it in the post and wait for the savings to come in. You will be on a cheaper energy tariff in no time.
