A Day in the Life at Love Energy Savings...

I like to get into work early to go through my emails and get a head start before the team arrive and meetings inevitably kick in around 9am. No two days are ever the same. One day I could be meeting with potential partners to discuss collaboration; other days I may be meeting with suppliers and some days may be more focused on helping to support my team with any brand marketing or recruitment campaigns we are currently working on.
Every Monday we have a top-level management meeting with Phil, the MD, and all the heads of various departments to touch base before the new week kicks in. This usually gives me a good idea of what tasks should be taking priority and what the teams focus should be in order to benefit both the business and our customers.
About you and your team…
What are you responsible for?
I am responsible for ensuring that Love Energy Savings is perceived as the ‘go to’ brand for business electricity and gas, but this responsibility takes many forms.
Firstly, I am responsible for raising brand awareness, working with both internal and external teams to place Love Energy Savings as the leading voice in our sector. I know we are the best at what we do, but it is my job to make sure business owners know that too.
I am answerable for making sure all campaigns are delivered on-time and within budget, meeting agreed objectives and ultimately ensuring that everything we do is focused on the customers, enhancing their journey with us.
Finally, I am responsible for Business Development, building and maintaining partnerships with others in the industry so that we can work together to save as many businesses as possible money and time when switching their energy tariffs.

I've been a part of the Love Energy Savings family for over three years now, and haven't looked back! Tell us about your career journey since starting at Love Energy Savings
I started life at Love Energy Savings in 2014 as a Marketing Executive, looking after the email marketing campaigns and getting involved in helping to organise sponsorship opportunities.
From there my role developed as I started to get involved in more areas within the Marketing remit. As the company grew, so did the Marketing team, and I was increasingly required to take on a more management focused role.
Showing a flair for Business Development, this also quickly became a key responsibility and I was tasked with the management of new partner relationships, helping to build rapport and sustain relationships.
I can honestly say it has been a brilliant journey and one which is nowhere near finished yet.
When not working, what can you be found doing?
I'm a self-confessed shopaholic with a substantial shoe collection. In the evenings, when I'm not pacing around the Trafford Centre, I like to catch up on the latest box-set series and spend quality time with my fiancé, friends and family. At the weekend you can usually find me exploring new bars and restaurants.
I am a great believer in the work/life balance, but that does not mean I don’t find myself taking ideas from my favourite brands, looking for inspiration from their marketing campaigns and exploring how they can work for us at Love Energy Savings.
