Pure Planet approach tariffs in a different way to other suppliers showing you two prices. One for warmer summer months, and another for colder winter months. This allows customers to plan finances accordingly with no surprises. You will also pay a membership fee with Pure Planet – this is instead of a daily standing charge.

Pure Planet was founded in Chorley, Lancashire in 2015. They are privately held by Blue Marble Holdings Limited. Formally Tulip Energy Supply Limited, they renamed the business to Pure Planet after an investment from BP. BP own 24% of Pure Planet.

There is a 14-day cooling-off period, from when you first sign up with Pure Planet, or when you switch from our 100% Green Variable tariff to our 100% Green Fixed tariff, during which you can cancel your switch.
Some Pure Planet Tariffs have a £15 exit fee per fuel.
